AI Disclaimer
Effective date: 16 July 2026
Performers AI uses artificial intelligence to analyse the video you upload. This notice explains what that analysis is — and is not.
1. Automated estimate, not official scoring
The analysis, scores, points, states, statistics, winner determinations, and 3D reconstructions produced by the Service are automated estimates generated by AI. They are not official scoring, refereeing, judging, or any authoritative result, and carry no official standing with any sport, federation, or governing body (including, for Jiu-Jitsu, the IBJJF). They do not replace a qualified referee, judge, official, or coach.
2. Accuracy and limitations
2.1 AI outputs may be incomplete or wrong. Accuracy depends on factors including video quality, camera angle, lighting, occlusion, the number of people in frame, and how closely the action fits the model's training.
2.2 Support for a sport, or for a specific situation, does not guarantee correct interpretation of any given match.
2.3 We do not warrant that any analysis is accurate, reliable, or fit for any particular purpose.
3. Not professional, medical, or safety advice
Outputs are for information and training interest only. They are not medical, health, injury, training-prescription, or safety advice. Physical and combat sports carry inherent risk. Always rely on qualified professionals — coaches, referees, and medical practitioners — for decisions that affect health, safety, competition results, or eligibility.
4. Do not rely on outputs for consequential decisions
Do not use AI outputs as the basis for official results, disputes, disciplinary decisions, betting, medical decisions, or anything with legal or safety consequences. Any reliance is at your own risk.
5. AI avatars, 3D reconstructions, and Competitions
5.1 The Service may generate 3D reconstructions and, in future, AI avatars and simulated Competitions (including imaginary bouts against avatars trained on data). These are synthetic, illustrative simulations — not recordings of real events and not predictions of real-world outcomes.
5.2 Any avatar or simulation described as based on a named athlete is a stylised representation for training and entertainment, produced only where the necessary rights have been cleared, and does not imply endorsement by that person.
6. How our AI uses your data
We use your uploaded content and the data derived from it to provide the Service to you — to run the analysis, generate scores and replays, and build your history. We also use this content and derived data to develop, train, test, and improve our AI models and the Service. You can opt out of this training use at any time in your account settings or by emailing [email protected]; opting out stops future use for training but does not affect models already trained.
7. Bias and fairness
AI models can reflect limitations in their training data and may perform unevenly across body types, styles, environments, or sports. We work to improve models over time but make no guarantee of uniform performance.
8. Human oversight and reporting errors
You can report analysis errors to [email protected]. Your feedback helps us improve but does not create any obligation to alter a result or any warranty of accuracy.
9. Changes
We may update this disclaimer; the "Effective date" will reflect changes.
